I've had a few scares this pregnancy so rented a doppler that just came today.

I got the one that has a display (I can't imagine trying to count beats) but does not record

BabyBeat Display Doppler
(Model 200)

I wasn't able to pick up the heartbeat today so now I am wondering if I tried too early or wasn't doing it right.

Hey There...

Wanted to say congrats on hearing the HB on the doppler. How many weeks are you now? I thought you couldnt usually hear it on doppler until about 12 weeks or so...but I am probably wrong...I am forgetting now.

I wanted to say I was released from my RE to my old OB and she too DOES NOT believe in progesterone and was unhappy to hear that my RE had put me on them. I think you were the one that your doc. didnt believe in them right? Well just wanted to let you know my OB feels the same way. But now that I am on them I have to keep taking them unfortunately. Honestly I regret ever starting them. I feel sick all the time and exhausted...and I just know these are side effects from the progesterone.

Anyway congrats again on being able to hear the HB at home!!!

Hi Sarah,

The place where I rented my doppler said some women can pick up the heartbeat as early as 8 weeks.

Rose - I am so happy for you. I've been wondering how you were doing because the last post I read was when you were having some worries. Sending lots of SBV's your way, and congrats again on hearing your little one's heartbeat :)

Take care,

Lisa
