Yay! Lots of chatting today! Except I probably can't remember everything . . .
Sara, I'm so glad your ob is taking such good care of you. It's nice when they are understanding.
Yusra, how long is DH going to be gone again? I know it's long enough for you to decorate. ; ) Hopefully not too long, though.
I'm glad we are all going to be fat together. Kayaking sounds like a lot of exercise to me, though!
Yep, I am getting pretty close to 2T - I really can't believe it yet. Only 2 more weeks! I made DH take a pic of me on Monday when I hit 11 weeks so we could track my belly. Right now it's really just fat, but I like to pretend.
Hello. Sorry I've been MIA this week...just very busy. Then with the busy comes sick and tired by the time I get home...so not much internet usage for me.
The 2T is getting excitingly close...dh has figured out the exact day. He's heard so often how better the woman feels in the 2T that he thinks some sort of switch is going to flip on that day and I'll have energy, wont be sick and ready to bd again... He's going to be out of town that day and is actually upset about it. Though I'd love a switch to flip too...I think he's going to be disappointed when the change is gradual. LOL!
I haven't been exercising either. I was told not to by the RE until after I was released at 10 weeks. At this point I still haven't felt up to it... The good news is I've only gained just under 3lbs, so I don't feel too badly about that. I thought for sure it would have been more...must be
Hi ladies. It sounds as though the m/s has many of us down this week...still trying to look at it as a good thing. I've just been extremely busy and not even home any evening to take naps after work, so I'm exhausted. All for a good cause, though!
Sara I'm just so sorry. (((hugs)))
Sarah everything WILL be okay at your u/s on Tuesday. I know it. I can feel it. The nausea is a good sign and the fact that it's not consistent is perfectly normal. You and your bean are in my prayers...but you already knew that.
JL I truly wish I could walk. If you're keeping up your walking/biking after class this week, I'm truly impressed!
Woke up to feeling nauseous this morning. An average person would probably not be thrilled about this, but not this PAL gal! I was so worried that I hadn't had enough symptoms yet. I guess I had a strange look on my face, trying to sport a smile thru the nausea. DH said, 'what is wrong!?' He laughed, so did I.
Sara, we're all thinking about you and are so sorry for your loss.
Yusra, I'm glad that you were able to visit Ameerah's gravesite. I'm glad that everything's going well for this pregnancy.
Andrea, I just read a fascinating article about sushi during pregnancy. I don't know where caviar fits into that, but it's always better to follow your instincts! I had my first son in Japan and everyone ate raw fish (well, and drank and smoked) and it was shocking! After reading this article I get the raw fish portion of that.
I am getting big...protruding stomach at 7 weeks. I always start out like this. I went and bought a few blousy tops yesterday to help, but I really don't want to advertise this pregnancy until we are certain about everything and get the genetic testing results back. I have no idea how to 'conceal' this pregnancy any better. Any thoughts on this? I know that I shouldn't have to and I normally wouldn't care, but my 10 1/2 year old son really had a hard time with the last pregnancy loss and I can't take him through that at this stage.
Thanks, and a happy, happy weekend to you all, Karen
PS: Oh....and today was the EDD for the pregnancy that I lost in January. I'm very happy to be pregnant right now or else I think that this would be a more difficult milestone.
