Hey ladies,

How is everyone feeling?

I have felt horrible all week. I stayed home from work yesterday to rest. I feel better today. Tired, but better!

Anyone else still have a horrible taste in their mouth all of the time? I'm constantly sucking on hard candy so I don't taste the ickyness!

My next dr's appt is on Tuesday. I'll be 12+ weeks then! Hard to believe!

*hugs to all*

Karen, that article on sushi was fascinating! I love sushi, especially anything with tuna, and have been staring like my dog at DH while he eats it at our favorite restaurant. I guess since we're not supposed to eat the tuna b/c of the mercury it doesn't really help me all that much, but I'll certainly think about having one bite next time.

JL, just because you said so, I'm going to try to walk in the morning. I've been feeling pretty good in the mornings (except yesterday), so I guess I need to take advantage of it.

ooh, didn't realize what time it was - must get ready for a couples baby shower. Can I tell you how excited DH is about this? ; ) be back later!

Megan- HAve fun at the couples shower- we have been to a few and it does feel a little silly and at the same time like any regular old party- the men just went outside and hang out while we ladies did the ooh/ahh thing at the gifts- not all that different:)

Oh geez, I forgot what I wanted to day to everyone else- oh, wait, heres one thing- you guys did help to inspire me to walk this morning, that and the perfect cloudless day...gotta jump in the shower and get ready for these (2) weddings!

Happy weekend all!

Andrea, you were right - it was basically like a wedding shower. It was for a little girl, and it was so much fun to see all that PINK. It made me want a girl!

I can't wait to hear about the African wedding. My boss' daughter married someone from India, and it was fascinating to see all the different things they did. The groom rode in on a horse.

OK, since I promised, I am going to walk before it gets to 102 (although it's probably at least 95 now). We'll see how far Sophie and I make it. And how many doughnuts we eat when we get back - I went to Krispy Kreme this morning. ; )

Everyone have a good Saturday!

Megan, you just reminded me of how incredibly how hot it is throughout this country right now! I hope that everyone is okay. Being that hot during pregnancy is miserable!

Karen

I humbly write this as I'm wearing a fleece jacket trying to warm up here in Seattle.

Yusra-round ligament pain absolutely plagued my 2nd pregnancy. I think that OBs just don't get what it is and how much it hurts. It was the worst! Here is some hope. I was telling my physical therapist about it earlier this year and she said that if I was ever in the same predicament that she would introduce me to a special physical therapist that does a variety of different techniques to relieve the pain. I don't know what city you live in, but try googling cityname: physical therapist women. I came up with a bunch here. It certainly wouldn't hurt to call and find out what they specialize in. And, physical therapy is usually covered by most insurances.

Hope it works. Let me know. I'm still early on, but when I get there, I'll definitely be going the same route.
