breast tenderness/pain

I have no idea what happened, but during the night I woke up 3 times because my breasts were sore and painful. Although they had been somewhat tender to the touch until now, it has been one of the symptoms that I worried about because it was faint. I feel some sense of relief that this symptom is now caught up, but a bit worried that it happened all of a sudden. Although my husband said that it's not true, I feel like they doubled in size. Definitely feel heavier. With all of my previous pregnancies, the tender breast thing started about 3 days after conception, but this time it's been really different.

Has this sudden change in breast soreness happened to anyone?

Lets just hope that it's because it's a girl this time! (did I really just say that?!)

Ah.. I remember those days... I slept in a sports bra.. and I would have showered in one if I could have!! Just taking a shower hurt because the water pressure was just too much!!

Hang in there.. they will stop growing at some point!!

Hi Karen!

I can sympathize somewhat with what you're feeling.

I am in the same boat w/ ya! W/ DS my bbs hurt from the very beginning then tapered off. I went from a C (If TMI sorry) to a D then right before he was born up to a DD. After bfing I went back down to a D cup. This time my nips hurt a little in the beginning but not too bad. This past week (I am b/tw 10 & 11 weeks) I cannot go down stairs nor take a shower w/out it being really painful. It just started this week too! The only comfort for them is to hold them up w/ my hands so that my shoulders get a break. I am only 5' tall and I look so ridiculous w/ these big bbs. The sad part is in high school & college I use to wish by small B cups were larger. Now I'd do anything to shrink back. (My DH would be disappointed).
Does anyone know of a good sports bra in a DD cup? I tried some on but the shoulder straps are always to long for my small frame so they never seem to fit right. I'd pay big bucks for the right fit!
