Hi Ladies,
Well, got another HCG draw- it has been a week since the last one. It was the time I had lost my previous 4 pregnancies so you can understand how stressful it was...combined with really bad cramping this weekend- I thought it may be over.
I didn't sleep last night and was so nervous today- sick to my stomach not from being pregnant, but from worry. I even thought about what I would post today when I got the bad news...pretty pathetic.
So I called the nurses back at 1pm and was literally shaking. Then I got the news...480 to 11,000 !!! Wooohhooo! More than doubling over the course of the past week. I was lightheaded and just so thankful after I hung up the phone. So it is a great start, but by no means an indicator of success to come. We know how many of us have lost angels after a "good start". But one more day down and I am still pregnant...
We have our first u/s set up for next thursday- I would be 6w5d if I make it...gosh, it even scares me to talk in future terms...we have been avoiding it this pregnancy.
So thank you for all of your support...it means the world to me!
Best wishes and thank you so much,
Kristin

Congrats!!! That's great news. It's hard being a PAL, but that's what we're all here for!

Wow! 11,000 sounds good! Congrats! I'm excited to find out what my levels are. I'm only 4wks (if that) but I'm eager to know as much as I can. I learned so much at TTCAM and I am more thirsty for information that ever!!
Keep us updated after your appt on Thursday. My first doctor's appt is Sept 19, my last bean died at 5 weeks, 2 days but we didn't find out until I was nine weeks along. Seems like that 5-7 week range is riskier than others, huh!?

Kristin,
Glad to hear the good news. This is a really nerve racking process. I'm so glad that we're here for each other!
