Anyone else with diminishing symptoms?
| Sat, 09-22-2007 - 3:46pm |
Throughout this pg, I have been completely exhausted. I noticed the last few days I was tired, but not as much as before. Also, today, my breasts don't really hurt that much. The only symptom that is going strong is that I'm really hungry. I thought early pg symptoms weren't supposed to disappear until 2nd tri? I've had a missed m/c before, but last time I started spotting before my symptoms went away.
I'm getting very scared. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of my symptoms started diminishing around 10-11 weeks too, including my morn sickness and everything was fine. I think its normal as you turn the corner towards the 2T!
I would give your doc a call if you're worried though - maybe they can check the hb with Doppler and give you some peace of mind!

My symptoms have come and gone over the last few weeks too.
I have seen a LOT of women on here who've had their symptoms start to let up around week 10-11; it's perfectly normal, b/c this is about the time the placenta starts to take over the hormone production and your body is getting accustomed to the hormones.
I didn't have a whole lot of symptoms to start (just BB tenderness, mild fatigue and minimal, MINIMAL nausea).
Hey Marie,
My symptoms went away completely around 10-11 weeks with my DS.
Thanks, girls, for all of your reassurance. What you said makes sense. I'm just so worried all the time. I may call the doctor's office Monday just to see what they think. I've already had an early u/s, which showed a h/b. But I saw one last time, too. Ugh! If I could only skip to the second tri! :)
Marie, I agree with all of the pps, this is the time that this happens. I'm just a couple weeks ahead, and the past two weeks of diminishing symptoms have been extremely stressful because it was those symptoms that kept me tied to the pregnancy. All of a sudden, I just had faith! (And a great doctor who told me that anytime that I needed reassurance to call him and we'd get an ultrasound done).
I think that once we can feel the baby movement that will help us feel more assured, don't you think so, too? We're almost there!

I'm freakin' out over here for the same exact reason this morning.
