the only thing i have really planned is a doc appt w/ u/s tomorrow. after that i will let myself relax and take a deep breath.
something cute and funny, my 3 1/2 year old knows that mommy's tummys get fat when they have babies in them. their are a lot of prego mommys at church every sunday. everyday she still laughs and tells my my tummy is fat, i ask her why and she says, cauz you eat all your food. i have been asking leading questions for a while and today she finaly figured it out. it clicked that mommys tummy is getting fat because their is a baby in it. i showed her a little freebe similac book i got that has some good pictures in it. she has claimed it and loves it. because of the pictures we told her that the baby grows in a bubble that helps take care of it until it is this big(we showed her with our hands) because the baby is only "this big." i think she actually under stands a lot of it, because she will repeat it and talk about it which is really cool. the other thing we told her is that it takes a long time for the baby to grow big enough to come out. and the baby will come out when we get to see fireworks again, my edd is july 6th. i just love how interested and cute she is about it all.
we have acutally picked out names. if a girl she will be Maggie Emme(which is what both girls want of course) and if a boy he will be Jarom Andrew.
i have finally come up with enough confidence that i have started looking at baby gear, and diff beds for my girls. we are going to do a twin with a trundle. they are too small for bunkbeds and one is now in a toddler bed and the other has the crib as a toddler bed. we live in an appartment with small bedrooms so a twin w/ trundle is our solution for getting the crib back for the baby. my dad will be making the frame for us and it will be a big deal present for my dd's in may or june. since they are getting a little baby they need something big for them to make the change to their room special and exciting, instead of something that is being changed and taken away. they already love the idea. i really can't wait.
well enough of my rambling, just a lot of things just figured out.
Checking in here...not much to get thru the week just hoping these early weeks pass by as quickly as possible and I am hopeful of that given we have Christmas in just 2 wks!!!?!?!? How crazy is that!
I have nothing planned to take my mind off things and keep me busy... wish I did! lol Time is going sooooo slowly for me. Seriously. It's enough to drive me crazy....
I feel like I'm having a girl. Don't know why, but I do. Shane of course tells me not to be silly, that of course it's a boy... so we'll see, I guess!
As for names, we've already got them picked. He didn't like the girl name I wanted (Meadow) and I didn't like the boy name he wanted (Franklin), so the girl name is his and the boy name is mine, and then we decided to use our own middle names for the middle names. (Got all that?? lol) So if it's a girl, it'll be Madison Marie and if it's a boy, it'll be Caden Michael. For now, we just refer to the baby as "Chitlin" ;)

Thought I would get the ball rolling!
