New PAL with deployed husband.

Hello Ladies,

I'm from the July 08 board and I ran across this board in a post. I thought I would join here as well, being as I'm in my first trimester AND I have had 2 miscarriages in 7 months, this year. My last miscarriage was in Sep. I got pregnant in Oct.

So far things are going well. I've had one Dr. appt to check things out. I had a trans vag ultrasound but it dated me 8 days behind my LMP. I'm pretty sure I O'd late anyway, like day 16 out of my 28 day cycle, so it would only really be 6 days behind. The Dr. was not concerned at all, he said the stress of my husbands deployment and the miscarriage the month before could had made me O late. We couldn't see anything but the sac but he said it looked beautiful and he thought he could see where the fetal pole will develop.

I feel at ease most of the time but there are times when I'm worried that things are not progressing in there. I still have my pregnancy symptoms but I found out last time around that you can still have symptoms and the baby not progress. So, with that said I'm right in the time frame that I had both my miscarriages. The first one I had no idea until I went to the bathroom and there was blood when I wiped. That baby died at 5w3d but I was 8w from LMP. The second one I found out I would miscarry at 6w5d but they said it was another oblighted ovum. Well, they were wrong (crazy military Dr.'s), it was their equipment that was crappy. I found out there was a baby, yolk sac, and heartbeat within a day of the military docs doing intervention. Plus, it was an off post community hospital that found it. The baby's heartbeat was slow and by the end of the week it had died. It took a month for my body to miscarry. All in all, i'm afraid to go back to the military docs until my second trimester. If I'm going to miscarry, I would rather NOT know a month ahead of time and if we are to be blessed this time, than I don't want their crappy equipment making me worry myself into another miscarriage (that's not what happened but the stress would not be good regardless).

I do have one DD

Thank YOU!! I hope to be here for a LONG time as well. We've been trying for a year now. I signed up for a buddy to help ease my worries.

Thank you both again.

welcome and i hope things are going great for you this time. You have a great attitude about your hubby being gone. I don't think i could do the same. I hope everything is super smooth and i'm sorry the doctors were so incompetent before.
