So I have had light spotting on and off for a few days now, but this afternoon it's gotten to be a little more.

I'm so sorry for the stress your going through!

At my first ultrasound at 6 weeks the OB saw blood in my uterus. She told me it was from implantation and it wouldn't affect the baby. At 8 weeks I bleed some bright red blood and then it turned brown on a Saturday. I had an emergency appt. on the following Monday and the Ultrasound showed no blood in my uterus. The OB said it was the last of the implantation blood coming out. I'm now 34 weeks. I had an incident of spotting around 30 weeks and was told it was probably from

I am so so sorry. I have been so stressed by my bleeding so I know its awful. I had spotting on and off with my boys for 5 months with each of them. It was brown or pink and occasionally a little red. I heard all kinds of reasons, from the cervix..which my cervix does bleed easily when i am pregnant, i had something called a materal lake or something which they said could have been it, random we don't know why bleeding, and this time, because of my twin issue. This was by far more bleeding...like a period with cramps and the whole deal....and then now its been not as heavy but sudden gushes and more brownish. I hope it stops soon for you. Its awful. I hope that everything is just fine. As many people can attest, you can definitely bleed and still be ok.

I really don't have any experience with this; with DD I didn't have any bleeding and with my m/c I had some light brown spotting. I have heard of plenty of instances where the woman bled and went on to have the baby! I can't imagine what you are going through; I would be freaking out too right now, so i just wanted to send lots of *****HUGS****** your way!!!

Hi Beckie, I had some spotting/bleeding when I was pregnant with DD and she's perfectly healthy now. I don't remember exactly when it started but I thought for sure that it was all over as soon as I saw it. It was mostly brown, not as much as a normal AF but more than spotting on the tp. We found out that I had a SCH (sub chronic hematoma, I think is what it was called) and it resolved itself in about a week or so. It was the scariest time ever, but it had a happy ending. I hope you do too!!! :)

I had multiple types of "spotting" during my pregnancy! It started just like my m/c, but my m/c bleeding picked up on the third day and the spotting with this last pregnancy stayed the same... varying between reddish and brown, not heavy but enough to have to wear a liner most days, and then sometimes it would just be noticeable when I wiped. It stuck around, off and on, for several weeks, which was really crappy. (I was on "modified bed rest" - I basically went to work, sat at my desk, came home, lay on the couch, and then went to bed) Every time I thought it was done and we were all in the clear, it would start up again. Then, after it basically stopped, I had two random "gushing" episodes, a few weeks apart. I wound up going to the ER, where they did an u/s and DD was doing great.

Anyhow, I hope that your bleeding goes away faster than mine did so you can have one less worry!! I hope you have a spot-free weekend!

Hi

I had unexplained bleeding (enough to convince myself I was miscarrying) for over two weeks straight
