I have twins 5yrs old and since then have suffered an ectopic and a m/c at 10 weeks. It's been 4 long years and we are pg again hopefully for the duration. I"m just taking one day at a time since I know that anything can happen.

Anyone else execting in Oct??

Congrats all you newly preggers.

Hi Dana,

We're in the same boat. I'm catiously optomistic, too. I had a missed miscarriage resulting in a D&C on 11.19.03. AF never showed after that, ans I found out that I'm pregnant! My edd is 10.06.04.

I guess that things are going well so far here, but since the last last one was a missed miscarriage, I don't trust how I'm feeling. So I'm just taking things day by day. I think that I will be able to relax more after I see a heartbeat (we never saw on last time). My first u/s is on Feb 18. When's your u/s?

Glad to meet you!

Christine

hi guys,

I'm October 5th (hopefully - i can't help but say that)

M/C Sept 7th, spontaneously, at 6 weeks after a few days of spotting, which just got increasingly worse. I hate that there's just nothing you can do, you know?

Anyway, now I've been to the lab for early bloodwork last wednesday and my hcg levels were 551, friday they were 1400, and I just got home from the 3rd test today which i'll find out about later on this afternoon. I want to celebrate the increasing numbers, but I just can't. We still haven't told a soul. Well, I told the grocery checkout lady yesterday, since I know I won't have to go back and un-tell her if things don't go well. I know, I'm not well!!!! I told DH yesterday that we can tell strangers that we'll never see again, and he saw that as a good step in the right direction!!!

Also am getting progesterone checked, and so far it's normal. so phew on that.

Haven't scheduled an U/s yet, but doctor told me that they'll schedule it for sooner than usual. So I'll ask today when I call for lab results.

Here's hoping for BIG numbers for all of us, and lots and lots of SBVs!!

I have 3 children (8,4,3) and had a missed miscarriage in Oct 03. I went for my first u/s yesterday, there was a sac but it was still empty. I go back in a week for another.

Little confused on when I concieved. My lmp was 12-26 but I had pregnancy symptoms shortly after that. I tested on 1-16 and got a positive, about 10 days before my next cycle was to begin. Going by my lmp the u/s is normal, but I figured I was further along since I tested so early. I think if I had not miscarried, this wouldnt be an issue for me, but I freak about everything now. Edd 10-2-04.

Hi everyone! Im also due in OCT 04. The 11th asfar as I know. I have quite a history and am very very cautious. I found out last weekend I was preg with a HPT. As soon as I saw 2 lines I cried, shoved the test at DH (with a few pics in my mind of all those cutesy articles Ive read in the past of how woman told their husbands they were pg, believe me this one wouldnt have made the cut) Then I cried on his shoulder a few minutes and said Im not ready for this rollercoaster! But having no choice and just being afraid I then told myself OKAY, I will NOT obsess one time. I will take each day as it comes. I will continue to be proactive and do what I can to ensure this preg has a shot. And of course whatever happens, I will survive. Already I have survived (after 3 children) 3 early miscarriages, Then my son who is now 2 came. Last summer I had another miscarriage at 13 weeks. After seeing the heart beat I was in lala land. But there was this thought always in my head to be skeptical and that was proven true at the end of JULY 03. So I have a history of low progesterone and I take one baby aspirin a day for immune issues. (Gee Im a medical mess huh?) The problem right now is Im in between Drs and I had to go to my family dr to get my first beta. Which the results are taking FOREVER. They better be back today. I do have my appt with the OB specialist monday so I cant wait for that. Against their wishes I have self prescribed myself the baby aspirin and Im taking my left over progesterone. Oh well, I know whats important in the very beginning (for me). But I guesss I should stop babbling. Good Luck to all! Stay in touch. Lynne, stay at home mom to Sarah, 9 Allison 7, Brian, 6 And Joseph 2. And my precious little one due 10/11/04!

All,

I also have an EDD of October 6ish but had a miscarriage in November. I feel the same way- scared and not wanting to get too excited after the last time. My real concern is that I have no morning sickness- all the other signs but no morning sickness. My doctor says only 50% of women get it but I still feel like it is a bad sign. Trying to be positive.... My first u/s is on Feb 10. I guess we will see.

Hi,

I have a son who will be four in May, I had a m/c 11/01 at 11 weeks, so I also am very cautious this time around. I am so nervous, I think I am too paranoid, and I should start to relax more. I am now 5w3d, and due 10/10/04. I will pray for you and hope that both of our babies stick.

Good Luck,

Melinda

Hi All-

I just got definite positive tests this morning after testing twice before over the weekend and getting those "barely there" lines that you think you are imagining. If all goes well, my EDD is 10/19/04. I am coming immediately off of an early miscarraige on Dec. 29 at 6 weeks. I had AF in January and then jumped back on the boat, and it seems we may have been blessed right away. I don't know how I feel. I am on a see-saw between excitement and disbelief that things will go okay this time. I haven't even called my doc yet so I have no idea what my #s are. Anyway...October has always been my favorite month and the month my dh and I were married in so I have a GOOD FEELING about us October mommies! Good luck to all in these next few very long weeks!
