Hi Natalie!!! I'm glad your getting your appetite back and feeling the baby move! That is so cool. I love that little fluttery feeling and I can't wait to feel it again. Good Luck with your U/S in September! I hope the baby cooperates so you can see what your having. Ireland wasn't cooperative at all.
This is my first 2T chat!! YAY! I can definitely tell I'm getting a baby belly now, but it's still surrounded by my fluff : )
What does the movement feel like, Natalie? I am so anxious to feel it. My vomiting seems to be going away, too. I start work this week and my new kindergartners come next week so I'm glad to be feeling better.
Thought I would jump in here. My little guy was a late bloomer with movement. I have an anterior placenta (it is in front) so it cushioned it a bit.
In the beginning, I wasn't sure if it was the baby or gas moving through my digestive tract. It feels really similar. That, or if you drink a lot of water on an empty stomach and it sloshes a little. For me, that was at 18-19 weeks when I started thinking maybe it was the baby. Then, it changed to what felt like a little bump every so often, like a light tap with a single fingertip. DH felt the first one on the outside at about 20-21 weeks. It was a lucky shot. He had his hand on the side of my stomach, and BAM he felt a light tap. It can get frustrating because in the beginning, what you feel is so much stronger than what they can feel on the outside.
At about 25 weeks, it got SOOOO much stronger. He can wake me up at night kicking. (Kicking my cervix is also really, really annoying...) I can actually see my stomach move now when he starts kicking hard, and DH has NO PROBLEM feeling it now.
I know it is very frustrating waiting for your little one to start wiggling around in there.. but it will come. And it is so cool. A little weird and disconcerting at times. My body is definitely not just mine anymore. And that takes a little bit of getting used to.
Hello ladies, Thought I would jump in. Everything so far is going good. No sickness at all, just horrible headaches EVERYDAY. I could do without those. And tylenol does not touch them. I spend like an hour on the couch fighting them off. I got a nice bump for sure now. Though under clothes most people might not know for sure. I took pics and posted them here in the 2T section this weekend. I have my BIG u/s on Sept 4th!!!! YEAH. I can't wait to find out what the heck is in there. But that day will be hard because I have to be awake at 5am to get to my appt and signed in by 6:45am and the u/s is at 7am. So I have to go alone due to the fact we are moving and packers will be at our house at 8am. So DH misses it. :( I'll come home and not be able to take a nap, instead stand around and watch the packers and make sure they don't let a dog out. But either way, I'm excited that we are getting to know one week before out big move. Oh and I have been feeling light movement for like the past two weeks. So that is exciting. But also scarey since you don't always feel it. And it has been a few days so I'm a little freaked. I guess we will see what the u/s says I hope big and strong!!! Ok ladies I hope you alllll have a wonderful day! Stephanie EDD 1/31/08 Mommy to Hayden a SIDS angel
The headaches sucked!! Oh I am so glad mine FINALLY went away. Caffeine sometimes helped with them, but not always... Might be worth a try.
Bless your heart moving while pregnant. DH keeps saying he wants a different job and to move..(We just moved here in January...) But, we'll see what happens. Almost to the 3 T-- just have to make it to the end of November, and then he is more than welcome to get a new job!! heheheh
I hear ya on the moving. I moved last time while 7 months preggo with my son. We moved across the world though ( from Sicily to Va) and now I will be roughly 5 1/2 almost 6 months this go around. I joked with my family that I must like to move pregnant. Oh well what can you do the military tells us where and when to go. The headaches DO SUCK! I have tried caffeine and it seems like maybe once in every four tries, it actually works. Well congrats on everything being great for you so far sweetheart. I hope everyone else is doing great as well. Stephanie EDD 1/31/08 Mommy to Hayden a SIDS angel

Hi friends!
Alice,
For me, the movement feels like little flutters or ripples or rolls going across my belly.
