Everything was fine today, except I've gained 10 lbs since my last visit. Ugh. I was expecting it, though, with being on vacation (and eating everything in sight) for a week, plus being out of town 3 days this week and eating out the whole time... Other than that, all was well - she said the baby's heartbeat sounded very good. I told her I'd started having BH, and she gave me the standard "if you have 4-6 in an hour, put your feet up and drink 2 big glasses of water, then call if they don't slow down." My feet and ankles are swelling more regularly now, but once it gets cooler, I'll go back to my support knee-hi's which help.
At my next appt., I'll have my glucose tolerance test, blood test for anemia and antibodies (since I'm RH negative), followed a couple days later by my Rhogam shot.

For me, BH just feel like my whole abdomen gets very tight. When I had them on vacation (the day I went to the outlet mall and was on my feet WAY too much), I also felt like it was harder to catch my breath when they were going on, and they just felt generally uncomfortable. Since then, I haven't had the 'breathlessness' as much, but I do get an uncomfortable tight feeling in my abdomen, and when I poke anywhere in my uterus area, it feels hard. Laying down/putting my feet up and drinking lots of water usually makes them go away.
