update & I need how many u/s...

Holy cow am I a bit overwhelmed right now! I just had my regular 20 week ob appointment. Though I was nervous going in because it was the first visit with the ob I saw for my m/c (it's a practice with 6 docs and you have to rotate through before getting back to your regular doc) it went very well. I've gained 2 more lbs, the little guy's hb is at 150 and she found it right away this time, though he was trying to shy away in the beginning, and I'm measuring right on track. Once I relaxed I actually really liked this doctor, so all was well.

Then we started talking about future visits. I already have 3 more u/s scheduled with the Peri at 30, 32 and 36 weeks for measurements. On top of this I found out today that I'll need weekly u/s for checking the baby's progress weekly starting 30 weeks... so that's 13 more u/s! Yes, in some weeks I'll have 2 u/s! WOW, I think my head is spinning. It's very cool that I'll get to see him on a weekly basis, and comforting that he'll be under such close watch. This all starts a few days after Christmas ... so my start to 08 will definitely be busy. Guess you'll all be getting sick of my u/s updates starting December...lol!

Candace!

It is so much fun to have ultra sounds all the time! I got to have frequent ultra sounds with Matthew because of the growth issues also!!! It is the best!

Hugs!

I'm so glad you had a good appointment! It will be great being able to get weekly checks on your little one. I don't have any more u/s scheduled, so enjoy them! :-)

Hello Candace,

I'm so glad your OB appointment went great and that your measuring right on track. I can't wait to hear all of your updates from your many U/S' you have. You are one lucky Mom to have so many.

Ooh, Candace, I'm jealous! I think I'll only have one more before he gets here. Glad everything is going well and your appt with that dr wasn't too stressful.

Candace,

I'm so glad to hear everything is going well. Welcome to the world of ultrasounds! I have gotten every two weeks since 6 weeks, with the exception of a week or two. I get one today at my peri and one Monday at my OB. I have a cute picture of Zakir's foot on my desk!

Well I am jealous!!! Sorta! I know what a pain it is as GF had twins and lots of u/s so I know that scheduling them all can be a bit of a struggle but how great that you get to see him all the time!! Albert is a start already! Glad that the apt went well and that you actually liked the Dr!
