Holy cow am I a bit overwhelmed right now! I just had my regular 20 week ob appointment. Though I was nervous going in because it was the first visit with the ob I saw for my m/c (it's a practice with 6 docs and you have to rotate through before getting back to your regular doc) it went very well. I've gained 2 more lbs, the little guy's hb is at 150 and she found it right away this time, though he was trying to shy away in the beginning, and I'm measuring right on track. Once I relaxed I actually really liked this doctor, so all was well.
Then we started talking about future visits. I already have 3 more u/s scheduled with the Peri at 30, 32 and 36 weeks for measurements. On top of this I found out today that I'll need weekly u/s for checking the baby's progress weekly starting 30 weeks... so that's 13 more u/s! Yes, in some weeks I'll have 2 u/s! WOW, I think my head is spinning. It's very cool that I'll get to see him on a weekly basis, and comforting that he'll be under such close watch. This all starts a few days after Christmas ... so my start to 08 will definitely be busy. Guess you'll all be getting sick of my u/s updates starting December...lol!

Yeah for ultrasounds! The doctor I had with my first son gave ultrasounds all the time. I had such a different connection with that pregnancy because of it. The second one I didn't have as many ultrasounds and I felt a bit disconnected because I was used to getting to visually see the baby each time.
For us PAL ladies, I think that once we get to a 'safe' place in our pregnancy, that ultrasounds are going to be a very, very comforting thing for us. I am waiting for that to happen to me:)
I'm glad that everything is going well for you!

So glad all is well with the baby!!
I had a ton of ultrasounds with Sadie as well. It was nice to see her on a regular basis, but it didn't spoil the surprise at all! It was neat to see all the developments, like the floating hair and the practice breathing and all that fun stuff!
Consider yourself well-looked-after!
