I can't believe I am in my 15th week. My belly is definitly getting bigger, but no movement yet. I can't wait to feel my little one move. Here are belly pics taken at 6 and 15 weeks. My belly looks so much bigger when I look down compared to the pics.
Tomorrow I have my regular 4 week OB appointment, and I am hoping they can do a u/s and take a peak between the legs. I can't wait to find out if I am having a girl or a boy. We have names picked out already Reese for a girl and Kyle or Jack for a boy. If they can't see it tomorrow then I guess I will need to wait till Nov 6th when I have my 19 week u/s. I'll kup.
We rented the movie "KNOCKED UP" this weekend. I really liked it. There is a part when she is around 22 weeks and they are bd'd. He
Good morning/afternoon...The second trimester energy burst still seems to be eluding me on all fronts and I've got some major indecision working too. I am completely unmotivated to work today and pretty bummed out to discover that I have a work trip in just two weeks that I managed to overlook (I'll blame that on pregnancy brain).
Hope everybody had a good weekend! Vicki, Knocked Up is next on our netflix list - I can't wait to see it. Everyone I know that's seen it already said it was hilarious.
That would be so exciting if you found out tomorrow! Are you scheduled to have an u/s?
I think we found out new house this weekend! I took DH to see my favorite so far, and he really liked it too, so if everything works our with the neighbor's mom buying our house I think we'll make
Vicki, what a cute belly! I hope you get to find out what the baby is this week!
Amy, I'm still waiting for that energy too! I hope you get yours soon!
Megan, its so exciting that you found a house! I don't know how long you've been looking, but isn't it great when you finally found a place that works for you?
I was really productive this weekend, but they fry me energy wise. I usually end up crashing on the couch during our 10-11 pm show these days. My DH has been very nice in catching me up on the endings. I finally got the baby's room completely empty of EVERYTHING not staying in there. The closet is empty and everything. Yay!
I came up with the idea of being a magic 8-ball for halloween this year. My idea is to wear black and paint the belly as the top of an 8 ball. Then I want to get foam board or something and make triangles with the fortunes written on them to carry around with me so when someone asks me a question I can give them an answer. My DH says my belly isn't big enough yet to do this, but I don't think I care. I don't ever plan on being 7+ months on halloween, especially since we plan on only having this baby. I know my friends will be entertained.
I'm really nervous about my U/S on thursday. I had a great one on wednesday and thought everything was good, but the doctor's office called on friday telling me that they didn't get a good enough view of the heart and I need to come back in. I know that if they suspected something they would tell me, but my PAL brain won't leave it be. I just keep thinking about how it'll be really nice to see my baby girl one more time before I deliver her in 4 1/2 months. They told me that unless something goes wrong I won't be having any other U/S's.
I might be nuts, but at times I think my husband is a bit jealous (he's been in a snit for the past few days). He made a comment that the only person who seemed to matter was me.
Hello everyone! It's only 2:00 on Tuesday and this is already shaping up to be a very long week!
Katie, it's good to see you around! On the husband issue, mine is just getting hormonal. Seriously, he's being short and grumpy with me then blaming MY hormones on my lack of patience. I might almost believe him some of the time, but he was on the phone with his mom the other day and snapped at me. She yelled at him for it...he, he, he....and he snapped back at her that it was me not him! I just think they feel a bit detached from the whole baby baking process and don't know how to handle it. Also, I know my DH has some anxiety about what we'll do when the baby gets here...how we'll take care of him, etc. All of that right now is getting dumped on us. So hang in there!
I completely agree that the burst of energy is a myth. I definitely feel much better than the 1T, but no energy bursts here.
GL on getting the house you want, Megan! How exciting!
Okay, back to trying to figure out what to do to stay awake today! Have a good week.
I'm glad it's not just me struggling to stay awake at work!
Does anyone else's belly hurt? I couldn't sleep last night b/c I couldn't get in a position where I didn't hurt, and today I've just felt sore. I guess I'm stretching??
Hi Katie! Yep, I think DHs just go through stages in pg too. A couple of weeks ago I really didn't think we were both going to make it through alive. Now we're even better than normal - I'm waiting to see how long this lasts, lol.
Megan, I'm sorry about your belly pain. I've been having it too. Some days it hurts to even walk, others I feel like I can walk a mile (running is totally out of the question). I think I'm going to try out prenatal yoga and see if that helps with the discomfort.
