Wow, I can't believe its already 2pm and no one has started! I guess I'll start it this week.
Not much to report. Maybe thats why people aren't posting. My DH worked 12 hour shifts this weekend. He has to do it one weekend a month and it sucks. Saturday I went to a chili cook off at a friend's house. It was fun. I spent yesterday cleaning the house and got a terrible craving for cupcakes. I went out to the grocery store in my PJ's because I only have 2 pairs of jeans that fit and they were in the wash. I got my cupcake mix and ended up eating 3 cupcakes last night. I'm still hoping to start exercising soon, although I've always been really bad at that.
Jen, I was shopping yesterday in my pj's, too! Of course, I didn't even realize it until I came home. I'm sorry that your DH is having to work such long shifts right now. It's nice to have me time though.
Things are progressing here. I hit 17 weeks and I think that my tummy popped out another 3 notches over the weekend. Even my DH was surprised. I think that is one of the first things that he's even mentioned about this pregnancy. I guess that since this is his second, that he's just not super duper supportive. I don't get it and it makes me bummed out sometimes. I've got 3 friends who are pregnant right now and I share far more with them. My oldest son is the most excited about this. He's a good kid and asks me if I want anything.
Looking forward to hearing how everyone else's weeks are going. Karen
Not much to report here. We watched Knocked Up this weekend, finally, and it was hilarious! And I'm getting really worried about how much weight I'm going to gain with this pg. At the weigh in on Friday, I had gained 16 pounds, and I'm just barely over halfway. Aaah! I guess I really have to stop eating all the Halloween candy.
Oh, and we scheduled our 4D u/s at the appt on Friday for Nov. 30th. Can't wait! Is everyone else getting one? My pg friend at work didn't get one b/c her husband had some friends who had bad experiences with the baby looking all squished. I just want to see him again! I think I'll post in the 3T and see what they have to say.
Knocked up was hilarious! We watched it 2 weeks ago and I thought it was really funny. Especially all the things they thought that were wrong, like "you can't get girl pregnant when she's on top".
I'm freaking out about the weight gain too! I've gained 8 pounds as of my last appointment, and I'm obsessing with eating healthier and exercising. Still not stopping me from craving and eating the cupcakes! I'm just stressing about it!
We're talking about getting a 3D ultrasound done. My parents offered to pay for it, but I'm not sure what "terms" they'll want in return. My parents can be like that some times. Also, someone told me it costs like 600 dollars, and so I'm not sure about that. I totally plan on looking into it. I don't like the idea of going 4 months until I see her again!
We rented Knocked Up a few weeks ago, I laughed so hard I was crying. Especially the part where they are DTD and he says that the baby kicked his hand, and that it was a sign that the baby didn't like what was going on. And of course the end when the friend walks in on the birth....very funny!
I hear ya Sarah, we are so excited to find out the sex. I have been
Vicki...I don't think I've ever had a flat tummy. LOL But I definitely have a more full look and feel at night than in the morning. Especially if I've been on my feet a lot that day...it then feels quite heavy sometimes too. DH laughed at me the other day because I was walking around holding it up.
Sarah, I can't wait to find out who's in there causing you all of those issues either! It must be a girl...you know how difficult us girls can be. he, he, he Love the pic, btw!
Hi guys, Things are just plugging along around here! My belly is growing, growing, growing and getting super hard. Baby girl has been tickling me on both sides at the same time which shows how long she's getting! I have been feeling hungrier and more tired. I looooove being pregnant.. I don't see how anyone can not love it. I have to re-take my gestational diabetes test on Friday. This time I have to fast for 8 hours and then have my blood drawn and then drink the stuff and then an hour later have blood drawn and then an hour later have blood drawn. AND I have to stay there the whole time! My dh is going with me and we are going to take the lap top and watch some movies. Then it's serious brunch time. Watch out! Then we are going to my mom's for the weekend up in the foothills. I haven't seen her since 16 weeks!! I love "knocked up." Have you guys seen "The Waitress?" So cute! x alice

Jen, we definitely wouldn't be doing it if it were $600! It's $150 at my dr.'s office, but I'm sure that it varies.

Hi 2t ladies!
I hear you girls on the weight gain, I don't think mine is that bad yet, but I am nervous about sitting around all winter.
Hey 2Ters!
We had a nice weekend- drove out to the Shenandoahs for our annual foliage tour down Skyline Drive.
