Passed the GTT!!

Okay, now the OB triage nurse thinks I'm completely neurotic. They have a "no news is good news" policy on all testing. I've been really good so far about not calling them, but I just couldn't stand not knowing exactly how the GTT came out. So I called today, just to make sure. The nurse called me laughing..."you passed, of course!" Yay! Apparently they want you under a 130 and my number was 96 so I'm good! Whew, I was worried about this since diabetes runs on both sides of our families. Now I know I just have to let go and stop worrying so much about the little things. All signs point to this being a good, smooth pregnancy. I'm going to try my best to accept that! Thanks for reading!

Thanks, ladies! For those of you who are dreading the glucose drink, it's not as bad as I had built up in my head. I really thought it would be some syrupy nastiness. Really it was like drinking flat, too strong orange soda. IF you've ever gotten a drink of soda that wasn't properly mixed and too strong on the syrup side, it's close to that. Super sweet but at least not thick like I expected.

Megan, I wish I had a good tip for you...here's what I did but I don't know if it made a difference.
