Gestational Diabetes test results

I passed! My glucose level was 89 and they look for <140. Even though I felt "off" after the test, I guess it didn't mean anything as far as my sugar processing capability, LOL. I'm not surprised since I'm healthy and active, I would have been more surprised if I had failed.

That's great, another milestone passed. I noticed you have less than 100 days to go....

Glad you passed!
One less thing for you to worry about :)
I am hoping that I pass it, too. I am such a carboholic, I would hate to have to cut down on all the bread, sugar and pasta that I eat!

Hi Jenn,

It's true genetics can be rough sometimes. I have a friend who eats healthier than anyone else I know, exercises, is within a healthy weight range, etc. and she still ended up becoming diabetic. Her Dad is too so it's apparently a genetic thing. Good luck with the test this time around!

Great news! I really didn't think you'd have a problem with this either : )

Yay! Congrats! How bad was the drink? I have mine sitting in the fridge even though my test isn't until the end of September. It does NOT look appealing, but maybe that's because I still can't really eat sugar without feeling sick.

It wasn't as bad as I had pictured it - it tasted like a super sweet, flat orange soda pop. I drank it cold, since I heard that made it more palatable.
