That's cool that you have an induction date scheduled in case you need it, so you know the "end date". If it's OK to ask, was there a certain reason they did that or is that just your doc's preference to only let you go a week over? Just curious ...

My doctor said that he doesn't like to let women go more than 1 week past their due date, since after that point the placenta starts to age and can develop calcium deposits and such.
