In awe of my good fortune

I just had the best appointment EVER. With Sadie, every time I went in, I got some kind of bad news. Intrauterine growth restriction, glucose intolerance, high blood pressure, threatened preterm labour, low hemoglobin, proteinuria, breech presentation, so on, so forth.
At 30 weeks, Roni Cheese is weighing 3lbs4oz, which is 60th percentile (Sadie was always below 5th). My glucose, hemoglobin and blood pressure are all normal. I'm having tons of Braxton Hicks but they are not doing anything big to my cervix. My placenta has moved clear out of the way and Roni Cheese is in blastoff position already. I'm practically in tears as I write this, everything is GREAT!!!!!
I asked if I could be spared an induction, and he said not unless I go into labour before 38 weeks, which is unlikely. So I'm facing another horrible induction in 8 weeks, but it's a small price to pay for the health of my son. My SON!!! My healthy big stropping lad!!!! SOB!!!!!!!!!!

That is so wonderful that you and the baby are doing so well! You deserve it! :-) I hope your induction goes really well, too - it could be a breeze this time, just keep that in mind! :-)

Oh, Becca, I'm so so happy for you!!!
Becca,
That is AWESOME news! :) (well, except the induction!) Glad to hear everything is looking good.
Hello Becca,
I'm so glad everything is going so wonderful with your pregnancy. I was just telling my DH the same thing the other day. I told him this is the best pregnancy I have ever experienced so far. It sounds like your son is very healthy. Thanks for the update.
That's great news, Becca! And I can't believe they could have the samed birthday!!
