Can't the universe just make things easy on us after all we've been through!!? Geez! I hear you girls on being tired and needing to lay low. Yusra- I am sending you lots of hugs for this very bittersweet time. We're here for you. Megan-I hope that something works out so you can stay home as long as you like! I am off to get my bikini line waxed--someone has got to take care of things down there! x alice
Yusra, sending big hugs for you this week. I'm so sorry about your uncle and Ameerah's birthday. I hope that you had a good birthday yourself, considering. And I've forgotten when Zaki's birthday will be, too - soon!!
Alice, hope you survived the bikini wax! I've been sort of keeping up with them, but it definitely doesn't last as long as it normally does. I
HI girls, I survived my bikini wax! Ha ha! I only get a standard bikini wax when I go so it wasn't too bad. For some reason my lip and brow wax seemed more uncomfortable! I'm a wienie! I really avoided getting a bikini wax as long as possible while I've been pregnant b/c I can't take any tylenol like usual and thought it would be way worse than it actually has been. I just don't want anyone to shriek and run when I go to the pool on Friday. I also definitley don't want my dh wondering when he landed in the amazon jungle!!! Back in the day when I used to get brazilians I used to think that I would want them during pregnancy. Oh no!!! Glad I didn't even try that. Eesh. mbc1217 I can't remember your first name (brain fart) but good for you for running a memo about the benefits and maternity leave stuff. Oh--I borrowed a set of hynobirthing cd's from my buddy today. It is to help you find a calm place during birth and manage labor pain (I mean "pressure waves"). I have to say it is sooooooo relaxing! Has anyone else thought of using hypnobirthing techniques? x alice
