Hi ladies, hope you all had a great weekend.

Wow Amy, you sure have alot of energy! I keep thinking about cleaning out closets and drawers, but the motivation isn't enough, as I always feel like I am out of juice. My mother is going to come down and stay with me for a few weeks, so I am hoping to get the help from her.

Good morning ladies!

I had a very relaxing weekend and felt like I actually got some things accomplished.

I am all packed for the hospital. Zaki's room is almost done. We finished hanging the pictures and deco. I just need to buy a little side table and some baskets and it's all done. I'll post pictures once I'm done.

Vicki, I felt like that too. It seems like I have more contractions during the week when I work. When I took it easy this weekend I maybe had 2-3 contractions per day. You can try wearing a support belt to help with the pressure. I've been wearing one since I think 15 weeks and it really

Yusra, where did you get the support belt?

Glad to hear the nursery is almost done, can't wait to see pic's.

hi ladies!

Wow, sounds like everyone is doing well. Looking for some good news from Alice, Stephanie, and Candace soon.

I'm so impressed with everyone's energy levels. Yusra's got her nursery done and Amy's getting all of the clothes sorted. I'm in a huge nesting mode as well. I repainted the living room, and am having new carpeting installed, fixtures and sinks fixed... I haven't even started with the baby stuff yet. I'm with Amy in the not realizing this is happening state. I tried to explain this to my Dr. the other day and he laughed at me, jokingly, as this is the 3rd one for me so I should understand that an actual baby is coming out of this. I'm clueless though and though I know this in theory, it doesn't make real sense until they pop out! I think that I need to go and buy a 'home from the hospital' outfit and a new diaper bag for the little guy and it might seem more real.

I, too, am waking up several times at night to pee. I have a really difficult time getting to sleep so instead of stressing out I have been getting up and watching tv to get my mind off of it. Sounds like some of you ladies are having that pubic bone pain that I had last pregnancy. That really is painful. I think that this time, this little one has settled more in the back of my pelvis and I haven't had that kind of pain, but am suffering from really intense lower back pain. I haven't brought out that maternity belt, but I think that is a good option.

One question...I'm planning on going to Whistler in a couple of weeks with some girlfriends. I'll be 6 weeks away from my due date and it's a 4 hour drive from here. Bad choice? No problem? What do you think? I'm kinda getting anxious about it and am wondering if it's a good idea after all. One of the girls who is going has the same due date as me, so I'll be in good company. Once we get there I could just lie around, go to the spa, and read and relax all weekend which might be great for me. I don't know! I can see both sides of this.

hope everyone is enjoying their week.

Hi guys,
I am still here in prego state. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooo ready for this little cupcake to come out. I have been having majorly strong braxton hicks' on our walks. I have been keeping up the two walks a day and eating spicy food and have been having some sex. One good sign is that since the sex last night I have been feeling a little crampy low and centered in my abdomen. It's the only "different" symptom I've been having. I felt a little nauseous this morning, too. Other than that I feel suprisingly good!
I am so excited for you ladies getting your nurseries ready. I love that part!

Alice...can't believe you're still hanging in there. Sounds like you're trying everything to get labor to begin. The day that I went into labor with DS#2 I had sex, ate super spicy food, drank castor oil, and climbed stairs. I would have to say that the climbing stairs thing worked with both of my pregnancies to date. Just a thought. Regardless, you're almost there!

Alice, I am LOL at the sex. VERY good to know that it's actually accomplishing something, though - DH had better get ready ; ). Sending lots of labor vibes!

Knowing that Natalie and Stephanie have had their babies is making this a little more real for me, but I agree, no matter how big my belly gets it's still so unreal.

Our bedding/curtains came this weekend, and DH went to get our chair, so the nursery is really coming together! He's got one more coat of paint to do around the top trim and the painting will be done. Hopefully I can post pics soon!!

Vicki, I feel like I have to pee if I stand up for more than a couple of minutes too, it's so uncomfortable. And walking around, hhahahahha. Except Saturday night around 2am I had a minor breakdown and decided that it would be a good idea to walk up and down the stairs a lot to see if that would put me in labor. Didn't! Just made my hips hurt more. Do anyone else's joints hurt? My hips, knees, shoulders, even my jaw hurts.

Luckily I am more sane today! And tomorrow is my work shower, so a good day!!

Andrea, I'm so glad that the nursery might be done before the baby gets here. Very exciting!
