Hugs! Some people have no clue! I have girlfriends who live elsewhere asking me if I've lost the weight from the baby yet. One asked me how many pounds I'd lost so far. I mean, it is one thing if I offer it up, but to just out and out ask? Eek!
I'm so sorry your customer was so rude to you by saying that. Some people just don't think before they speak. Your DH is so sweet for making you feel better.
I know how you feel. I been asked several times if I'm having twins and it makes me want to cry also.
Just wanted to say I'm sorry!!!! People are like that. I've only gained 2 pounds so far but I am bloated and even my mom comments on how 'fat' I'm getting already!!!! I mean come on! You do not tell a normally 115 pound girl that she is getting fat!!!! Pregnant or not! People just don't think. But you know what, pregnant women are beautiful and we need to to just ignore those individuals who say otherwise :)
Wow, you've gotta keeper there...what a husband! I'm sorry that someone's insensitivity had to affect you. How incredibly rude! I keep on thinking, 'I'm going to have a great comeback this time', but I end up being so in shock at these kind of comments that my jaw just hits the ground and no words come out of my mouth.
May this be the last time you have to have this happen to you! Karen
Oh, I'm so sorry! That was so rude of her! At my brother's wedding last weekend my 90 year old step-grandmother asked me how much weight I've gained so far. When I told her how much (29 pounds) she said "oh my! I never gained that much with any of my pregnancies!". But I just brushed it off as her being her mean self. She always scared me anyway.
It was very sweet of your DH to send you that email! Sounds like he's good at being romantic!
