I want to say congrats and dont read to far into the darkness of the line on the BFP. A line is a line!

I would start by calling your Dr and setting up bloodwork and a visit to talk about your concerns. This will ensure you have a plan that is right for you.

Congrats!! The strength of the line is unimportant. A line is a line is a line.

Call your OB and see if you can come in for bloodwork. It might make you feel better.

Personally, I waited after my m/c because I wanted to be "normal"-- I had a blood draw at 8 weeks and an ultrasound at 10 1/2 weeks. Which is standard for that OB's office even without a loss.

One miscarriage does not mean that you're any more or less likely to have a m/c than someone who hasn't had one.

You're not going to see much on an ultrasound until AT LEAST 6 or 7 weeks.

Faint lines just mean it's early.

Hey and welcome to the board!! Congrats on your preg! I would say that by around 7 weeks you should see a hb on the screen. I know that several women on this board have ordered a doopler, or rented one. They are not that expensive and by around 10 or 11 weeks you can start listening the hb at home for comfort :)
