Hello Ladies,
I went to my health center on campus. I explained my situation and how I do not have insurance and the whole bit. (Keep in mind that I have to pay a required health fee of $183.) They told me that I would need to set up an appointment without telling me the cost. When I finally got it out of them, I was told I would have to pay $17 a pack (i.e. a month) and that doesn't count the cost of the exams. Maybe $17 is cheap, I don't know. Please give me your feelings on this. Thanks!
So, here I sit wondering why birth control is said to be affordable and obtainable. I feel as if I have used my every resource and I am kind of discouraged. By the way, I still haven't got my period so that has me worried too.
Thanks for reading this ladies!
Chelsie

Well...it's relative.
I think that if BCPs are a priority, you can probably squeeze the $17/month out of your budget. I think it would be worth the peace of mind alone.
