Nervous, please help!

Hello! I was on birth control for 7 months and just went off a little over 2 months ago. Me and my boyfriend have been using condoms with spermicide. The first day of my last period was January 29th. We had sex on February 14th and the condom broke but he pulled out. I should be due for my period sometime this week but I am getting nervous now because even though he pulled out, I am scared what if some got inside of me? I am not real good with figuring out when I ovaluate so I am wondering if by my calculations above, if I was in the danger zone. Also, are condoms with spermacide better against protecting pregnancy then the ones without? Also, is there a chance that the pill might still be in my system since I went off them a short time ago? We had sex this past weekend and my bf said he saw a little blood on the condom. I am hoping that was just because I was a little tight because I know it wasn't my period. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

It's really impossible to know if you were ovulating during the time the condom broke unless you were charting your fertility. Also, it generally takes a few months for women's cycles to regulate after stopping the pill.
Condoms with spermecide are more effective than condoms without, but neither is 100%.
Since you have been off the pill for 2 months, it is very doubtful that you have any protection from pregnancy from your pill use. BCPs work by regulating hormones and you must take the pills according to the schedule to be protected.
So, if your period doesn't come, take a test. If you aren't pregnant, take this as a warning and be more careful in the future.
A good 2% Nonoxynol-9 spermicide (not the stuff that comes with some condoms) will improve the effectiveness of condoms considerably as back-up for situations like you experienced. Because you stopped using hormonal contraceptives more than 2 months ago you have no protection from them. It is impossible to say when or if you ovulated unless you are charting your fertility signs, basal body temperature, cervical position and cervical mucus. If you are late getting your period I would test. When I came off OCs 22 cycles ago my periods varied in length for almost 6 months before they stabilized so if you are a few days late don’t panic. Post and let us know how you are doing, ok?
Hugs.

You do know that your wallet is one of the WORST places to keep condoms, right? Heat & the pressure of having a wallet in your pocket can degrade the condom pretty quickly...... could have even contributed to your condom failure, I'd say.
