Hello. I'm on Alesse and I have been for about 7 months now. Last month I skipped my period by not taking the placebo pills. Which i have done before without a problem. Then this month, the day before i started the placebo's, I noticed some bleeding. Which is a little odd because usually I don't start bleeding until the wednesday after i start the placebo's. It lasted for 9 days, which is odd also, and then it stopped for 2 days. Then today I noticed that there was a little more bleeding, just very light and pinkish. I really don't know what to think, but I'm a little concerned because this has never happened before. If anybody has any input, it would be greatly appreciated.

Since you haven't bled for 6 weeks, instead of the usual 3, it is quite believable that the lining of your uterus has built up enough that the hormones in your pills can't keep you from bleeding anymore. You've done well to make it through the whole pack! I wouldn't be concerned, if I were you. Just because it didn't work this way before doesn't make it something to worry about, our bodies change all the time.
