Micronor update...

Just wanted to share how things are currently going for me on the mini-pill. It didn't seem like there was much in the way of positive feedback on this prescription, but I am doing pretty well on it so far.

I am half way through my 3rd week, and the concerns that I had haven't been a problem yet. I am generally VERY emotionally sensitive. I think OTC (which I was on prior to my recent pregnancy) was a nightmare for me. It was hard to tell until I was off of it, but my mood swings and sensitivities were out of control. My relationship with my DH was very strained at times as we tried to get through it. I also had quite a bit of irritating break through bleeding. Not horrible, but annoying.

So, on to the Micronor. I am hoping that if I was going to have major issues some of them would have started by now. As it stands, I've yet to hit any huge unexplainable mood swings. I've been a little more sensitive than my usual self, but it's workable if I pay attention. And my DH is aware. I had a HORRIBLE period about 1.5 weeks

I can't really answer your questions--just giving my experience on Micronor...I was on it for about 8 months...I bled very heavily each month (some bc pills cut down on the heavy bleeding and cramping but Micronor didn't)....I took it continuously-as in when my pack ran out I got a new one filled and didn't "skip" a week or anything....I hope you have better luck with Micronor than I did.....
