I'm in my second month of taking Yasmin. How do I know it's working to prevent pregnancy? I got my period last month right on time with no problems but I should have started my period this month either yesterday or today and still nothing! I keep a calendar of what time I take my pill everyday as well as when my b/f and I have sex. I take my pill faithfully every morning at 7:25 but one day during this pack I did take it 4 minutes early and another day took it 3 minutes later than normal. Twice this month my b/f and I have had sex without a condom which was on the 11th and 25th day of my cycle. I don't know if I should be concerned about being pregnant or not?

Hi there!

Don't worry about being off by a couple of minutes, it's not that time-specific.

Thanks, I appreciate the quick response! :)

Last month my period started on the 4th day of the "sugar pills". When I took Ortho-Tri last summer, my period would start on usually the 3rd or 4th day as well. Here it is day #4 of the sugar pills and I don't have my period or any sign of it and I'm nervous and wonder if I should be concerned about pregnancy?

Hi riparalegal,

It can take a few cycles on a pill for AF to settle into a routine. If you have been taking your pills correctly then, like marryme said, you have nothing to worry about. After 4-5 cycles you should have an idea of when she will show. Just relax I'm sure you're fine. Post and let us know when she arrives, ok?

Good luck
