Topamax & Birth Control...

I think I already know the answer to this but I figured I would post to see if there was anyone out there in the same situation....
I was put on Topamax last week for migraines... I am will be progressively increasing the dose for the next couple of weeks... according to everything I read... topamax eats the estrogen from the birth control (currently on the ring)

I did a little research yesterday and there's been at least one study that shows that lower doses of Topamax do not affect Ortho Novum 1/35, but they haven't tested other pills to see if there's as much interaction with the lower doses as with the higher doses.
Just to be technically correct, the estrogen isn't what keeps you from ovulating for the most part (it helps a little), it's the progestin in the ring that suppresses ovulation, thickens your cervical mucous, and tends to make your endometrium thinner.
