Altering periods on Tri-phasic

Hi,
I just did the math and found out I'm supposed to get my period the week I will be in Hawaii. I know you can skip the sugar pills and start your next pack of active pills right after the last active to alter the date of your period, but I was wondering who's done this on tri-phasic pills. I'm taking Orto-TriCyclen Lo.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

If you have time, it would be a good idea to try going back-to-back as soon as possible as it doesn't work for all women. And a triphasic pill, like OTC-lo, often doesn't work as well for skipping periods as a monophasic pill, one that has 21 days of the same dose of hormones.
Good luck
Jill
One way to move your period by a week with a triphasic pill is to get an extra pack of pills and follow this pack's week 3 with the spare pack's week 3, giving you four weeks of active pills before the week of inactive pills.
