okay, so I took off the two patches that I had on hoping that that would cause a period put ever since monday my breasts are EXTRA TINGLY AND SORE! Plus I have the worst lower backache and my stomach has this full feeling even though I haven't been eating alot, and I threw up yesterday....so maybe these symptoms are because I had on two patches so it was double the hormone? But I took off both patches last night and I still have the same symptoms. I only had sex on sunday morning (1:00 am) with a female condom that I think leaked but isn't this too soon? But I felt my second child, my son, move in my uterus when I was only 2 months pregnant so maybe the more kids I have the more sensitive I get? could someone help me! I was trying to work things out with my husband and now it looks like me and another girl will be pregnant at the same time from him! :(

I think if you go to your doctor and have them draw blood they can determine pregnancy after just a few days. You should call your doctor and ask about it. Good luck.

Two patches at the same time is a lot of hormones, and that can cause quite an upheaval in your body when you're not used to it.

thank you for helping me! I took off both patches on the 18th and my period came on the 20th and lasted until the 25th and this is the second period I have had this month! But this one was shorter than the one I had on the 7th of this month. So even after my period ended I am still having breast tenderness and headaches. I started a new patch on last night and my breasts still hurt! And whats funny that I have never had any sort of breast tenderness or premenstrual symptoms on the patch...thats why I like it so much! But I had a regular period with cramping and heavy bleeding at times and one quarter sized blood clot but other than that, i feel fine. But I hope that I am not one of those women that can have a period and still be pregnant! That would be horrific....

I'm kind of confused. Did your doctor advise you to wear two patches at a time? Because typically you're only supposed to wear one a week, and if you accidentally forget a week, you're not supposed to give yourself a double dose. It doesn't "make up" for the lost week or undo a conception made during the lost week, it just gives you an overload of hormones and messes with your system.
