A couple of weeks ago, I posted that my bf's condom slipped off inside of me while he and I were having SI. I am in my second month on the pill so the condom was merely for backup. But I was worried enough that I posted here and got some reassurance (thankful for that, as always) that I should be okay (my pill use has been consistent and uninterrupted). But at the beginning of last week (which would have been about a week after this incident) I started spotting. Now, I did this my first month on the pill and know that it can be a common side effect. But last month, I spotted all the way up until my inactive pill week. This time, I stopped a few days ago. I should be getting my period sometime this week, as it is my inactive week. But I'm really nervous it's not going to come. What was that spotting last week? And why would it stop?
I've become so obsessed that I've started checking for other signs of pregnancy - including checking my cervical position. It's felt harder the past few weeks than it does today and that worries me. Also, my breasts, while really tender last week during my last week of active pills, now seem to be shrinking and aren't really tender at all anymore. Wouldn't they be if af were on her way? And my temperature is at about 98.1 which I feel is high now that I've stopped taking the hormones.
I feel like I sounds crazy. But any words would be great :)

I can't comment on how your cervix should feel, I have never kept track. How your breasts feel in relation to your period is unique to your body, so can't help you there either! Have you been taking your BBT for a while? All I know is that you have to know what is normal for YOU. Stable temps mean you aren't ovulating, I don't know what it does around your period, and could it be different around your period whether you're on the pill or not?
If you've been taking your pills properly (you say you have), the condom incident really should not be an issue. Since it is your placebo week anyway, wait a few days to see if your period starts before you begin freaking out!!! Remember it may not start on the same day as last month either. If you haven't started before you are supposed to start your next package of pills, you might want to test just to see where you're at. (Just for reference, I never worried about missing one period on the pill, it happens, after two I would find out what was going on.)
Good Luck! Try not to stress!!

And I guess that last month, once I started taking the inactive pills, my breasts did sort of "retreat" a bit - as opposed to during the active pill weeks when they felt like they might burst! As for my cervix, it is very possible that I am imagining things or "overchecking" so I probably shouldn't rely on that anyway.
One other question though - is it possible that the bleeding I experienced last week WAS my period? It was kind of odd because when it initially started, I had some bright red bleeding (sorry if TMI) that was just like my normal period. Then the rest of the week, it gradually went down to brownish/pinkish spotting.
I'm sorry if I'm using this forum to sort out my own craziness. I just get nervous!
My doctor always told me that if I knew I was taking my pills properly to not worry about pregnancy. If I didn't have ANY bleeding (we're talking not even a spot) for two months running, I would check things out (bleeding at any time in the month, not necessarily the "correct" week). I missed one or two periods a year on the pill (once 4 in a row, wow was I freaking!!!). I now have some other theories on my irregular bleding on the pill, but they are really out there & not really relevant to your problem, so I won't delve into them.
Try not to freak! I honestly would consider last weeks bleeding sufficient if you have no more flow this week, but you have to decide for yourself what you're comfortable with.
