Is any type of "loose bowel movement" concidered Diareah??? I took my pill at 4 today, and had a small amount of loose bowel movement about half an hour to 45 minutes later. Should I worry that it has effected the pills protectancy, or no??? I am about the middle of a new pack of pills probably around my high point of ovulation, help?
Thanks

If you have been taking your pills correctly up until now you shouldn’t be ovulating. If I were you I would count today as a missed pill and use back-up for the rest of the pack. Better to be safe than sorry, right? I hope you’re feeling better.
Good luck

i'm not sure whether loose bowel movement is enough to cause the pill to be ineffective after 1hr 45min. when you have diareah, you're body is dehydrated or trying flush something out of your system that shouldn't be there (i.e. something that upsets your stomach) so it use a lot of fluid to move it out of the body quicker (hense the liquid form) so i think they make the point of saying 'vomiting and diareah' within those two hours after your pill because they are both very quick ways to to get materials out of your body quickly (not giving the pill enough time to do it's job). hope that helps some. i'm sure someone else can give a more direct answer - i would be interested to know the answer too! As Jill has reccomended, you should likely continue on your regular pill taking schedule & use backup for at least 7 days (or the rest of the pack, if that will make you feel better).
