Generic Pills and help

Okay, I take birth control pills (Zovia- the generic of Demulen) and I take them at the same time everyday (8 am). Well I had unprotected sex 3 times, but my boyfriend never ejaculated inside of me. I don't know, I'm just afraid...of being pregnant. I take birth control pills, he didn't ejaculate inside of me, etc. I don't have the morning sickness or any of that, but my stomach does hurt (but it always hurts). My period isn't until another 11 days from now. Can I get a pregnancy test now, and if so will it be accurate and able to detect if I am pregnant or do I have to wait until my period?
For some reason, I just do not trust the generic brand of birth control pills even though many have said they are the same.
I don't know. Maybe I'm just nervous because this is the first guy I've had sex with and I've never had sex before so I'm freaking out about pregnancy.

Please try to calm down. There is no 100% effective method of contraception other than abstinence, but hormonal contraception is very close at about 99% effective. If you have been taking your pills correctly; on time, not been sick and vomited or had diarrhea within 2 hours after taking your pill and if you aren’t taking meds or supplements that could reduce the effectiveness of your pills then you should be very safe.
If he wasn’t wearing a condom then withdrawal is not an effective method of birth control as there can be sperm in his pre-ejaculate. Even so, your pills work to prevent ovulation. There shouldn’t be an egg for his sperm to fertilize and you should be quite safe. You usually have to wait for at least 2 weeks after the event for a pg test to be reliable. If I were you I’d wait to see if your period shows on time. If you are late, then test. I know it isn’t easy, but do try to relax. I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Post and let us know how you’re doing, ok?
