Just how "ON TIME" do they mean

So I've just started the pill a couple weeks ago. God only knows I have trouble remembering to take vitamins... so I set my phone alarm for a daily buzz at 8am to take the pill.
So far so good.
But I was contemplating with a friend... just exactly HOW close to the same time can you take it everyday for it still to be 99%?
I mean, I'm sure minutes don't have an effect... but is there a huge problem if I take it at 8am one day, 10 am one day, 9am the next or whatever? Does anyone know specific figures for how much that will effect it? Or is it very minor, except for a difference of taking it at, say, 8am one day and 3pm the next.
I was just wondering if anyone had any specific insight on that one. I plan to take it within the same range, give or take an hour... but I was just wondering how the effectiveness goes down after a period of time.
Dunno.

This board considers within +/- 2 hours of your pill-time to count as on time. Any more than that and women who are very sensitive to their hormone levels can begin to spot. Personally, I think planning to allow irregular pill time is the wrong way to go and could lead to even wider swings in the times you take your pills. If I were you I’d try and stick as best I could to one time. But, that’s just me.
Good luck
Jill
Thanks again!
