When should I start to worry?

This is a stupid title, as regardless of whether or not it is justifiable for me to begin worrying, I worry anyway. In any case, I'm taking a generic of orthotricyclen (Trinessa) and I started the sugar pills last Sunday. Usually, I get my period the day I start the sugar pills. Now, it is the third day of sugar pills and no period. This is the fourth month I've been on birth control and I'm wondering if this should be considered serious. Of course, what I'm really asking is whether I ought to worry about being knocked up or not, which in itself is a dumb question because I either am or I'm not and there's really no grey area in the matter, now is there? But if anyone knows when is an acceptable time frame during the sugar pill week to start one's period, I'd appreciate the information.

I typically don't start until my 3rd or 4th day...totally normal and ok.
Between 2-5 days is considered ‘normal’, but really it will depend on what your body decides is normal for you. If you are new to TriNessa it will take 3-5 cycles for AF to establish a pattern. If you have been taking your pills correctly; on time (+/-2 hrs of your regular time), haven't been sick and vomited or had diarrhea within 2 hrs. after taking your pill and if you haven't been taking meds. or supplements that could decrease the effectiveness of your pills then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Good luck

i used to be on ortho-tricyclen and i used to panic all the time too! its typical for you to get your period on the 3rd-4th day, and if its your first time on the pill, you might not even get it at all! however, if you miss more than 2 periods, you should call your doctor to see whats wrong. hope this helps! :)
