i went back on alesse 2 mths ago and noticed that the once small amount of light fair hair on my stomach is now darker and more noticeable. i dont want to shave it but is waxing any better? or bleaching?
anyone else have this problem? gahhh soo embarassing

DO NOT SHAVE THOUGH! I have a friend who had baby blond hair on her tummy and for some reason she decided to see what happened if she shaved a little strip below her belly button. Needless to say it is now as dark and coarse as pubic hair. Eek!
If you can avoid touching it I would... if you MUST do something, wax. But it is probably not as bad as you think, really. Good luck!
I shave *everything* from the armpits down & have for years now, none of the hair is thicker or a different color than it used to be.
When you wax, the hair has to start from the bottom and it can take about a month to come back. However, you do have to wait for it to grow more in order to wax it again but it isn't as bad as you think because the hair is fine and soft.
I've never bleached but a girl in HS bleached her upper lip and it just looked horrible because she had a full blond mustache!
I've heard that eventually, if you continue waxing, the hair will stop growing back entirely. This hasn't happened to me yet (only been waxing a few years) but I do have what seems to be far less hair on my legs and under arms. Even my bikini line seems to have thinned out a bit though it can grow back in full if I don't wax consistently.
Good luck.
i've also heard that if you continue to wax the hair eventually stops to grow. do you go to a salon or do an at home kit? i work at a drug store and some girl i work w/ and a few customers said nair is the worst. but there's this other brand...andrea or another that's a girls name (but i forget) that's supposed to be good.
what do you recommend or use?
