timing and the Pill

Hi all -- I'm new to taking the Pill and I didn't get a real clear answer from my doctor on this. I know that you're supposed to take the Pill at the same time every day, but how exact should I be with this? I take it around 9 am every morning, but twice now (not in a row) I've forgotten and not been able to to take it until 11 AM or so. Would this be enough to cause a pregnancy? I haven't gotten my period yet this month (I'm not late, it's usually around the 15th), but I'd like to know if I should stop worrying over this or not.
Thanks!
Thanks!

This board considers on-time to be +/-2 hours of your regular pill time. Any greater variance and some women begin to experience side effects from hormone fluctuations. It's best to select a time that you can link with an activity that you do every day. Or set the alarm on a watch, or reminder on your cell phone or computer to alert you that it's your pill time. Having irregular pill times is not a good habit to get into.
Good luck
Jill
