I have had migraines my whole life. I started taking bc and it helped for a couple of years, then they got REAL bad. i saw a neurologist for almost 2 years and he released me a few months ago. i only take my meds when i need them badly ( they aren't cheap). now, my migraines are mostly only menstrual, so i was thinking of switching to seasonale, because the mestrual migraines are getting bad again. i didnt know if the seasonale would make it worse or better? anyone else had migraine problems. also, i cant take a lo-dose bc, because it causes my period to be really irregular.

My doctor would not prescribe Seasonal because I get migranes often. He said it would seriously increase the chance of stroke. I decided to take it anyway, but my migranes have become more frequent. He said the high levels of estrogen in Seasonal will make it worse. Just talk to your doctor before and find out all the risks.
