Hi Kristine, welcome back!

A small number of patch users have reported skin conditions at the site of the patch, but I don’t think those were hives. If you’re stressed because you’re beginning the patch and stress causes you to have hives, then I suppose you could say the patch caused the outbreak. Is it possible to reduce your stress in some way; by having some private time or by meditation or relaxing with a book? You should give a hormonal method at least 3 cycles for your body to become accustomed to the hormones you are adding to your natural ones. What caused your initial freak-out? Let us know how you’re doing, ok?

Good luck

Hi! I know this isnt really related but thought it would help. During the first 3 or 4 packs of OTC I broke out in hives very bad. That has since stopped but i find it very comforting to apply Aveeno Skin Relief lotion with cooling menthol or sit near cold air for about 5 minutes. Anyway just wanted to put in my 2 cents lol. Hope all goes well for you.
