worries about switching pills

This is my third month on bcps. The first two months, I was taking Loestrin FE and experienced btb during my third week of active pills both months, with some improvement the second month. My doctor decided to switch me to OTC lo for the third month, thinking I just needed a little more estrogen. So far, I haven't had any btb. Good, right? Well, a normal person might think so but a paranoid one like me is another story. Is it really possible that my body could have just miraculously adjusted to the hormones in the pill so quickly?
The reason I ask is really this: my bf and i have always used condoms in addition to my bcps. There was one time when he entered me, briefly, without one on. This was the Sunday I was set to start my new pills. I don't take my pills until the evening however, and this incident was in the morning. We finished the deed with him covered but . . .Anyway, I started my new pills (OTCs) that night right on time and have been on the nose with them ever since. I've been experiencing some PMS type symptoms this past week (sometimes my breasts are tender, moodiness, etc) which I didn't really have on Loestrin - and I'm due to start my inactives this sunday. What am I trying to say? I guess I'm worried that, somehow, the combination of me being on the inactive pills and having unprotected "sex" that time as well as the fact that I had so much btb on Loestrin that my "period" only lasted a couple of days, that something went wrong. Does any of this make sense? I guess I'm worried that because I'd been bleeding for so long on Loestrin (almost 10 days really) that by the time my "period" ended, it was early enough to trigger ovulation. I guess this speaks to a lot of women's concerns over how you can truly be protected during that inactive week.
Also, because I am so paranoid, I have been charting my cycle for the past month. On OTC, my basal body temps have remained relatively flat. I'm hoping this is a good sign that everything's okay and that my pills are working properly. But any insight would be appreciated.
I'm really sorry for blabbering. God, does anyone else routinely freak out like this?

Yep, I think you are overanalyzing the situation. I don’t think you have any need to worry. It’s great that OTC is working well for you. Flat temps are what you should be seeing if your pill is working correctly so that’s good too. If you have been taking your pills correctly: on time, not been sick and vomited or had diarrhea within 2 hours after taking your pill and aren’t taking meds or supplements that could reduce the effectiveness of your pills, then you should be very safe. You were still protected by Loestrin when you bf penetrated you unsheathed so you should be just fine. Take care and let us know how you’re doing, ok?
Best of luck
