Hi all.. I am currently on Ortho Tri Lo but I want to switch to a bcp where I can skip my period every now and then if I want to which my dr said I cannot do on OTL. She gave me a perscription for Levlen(haven't started taking it yet tho) but I haven't been able to find much info for it which I don't like. I am going to call her and ask to switch to Yasmin but I wanted to see what you guys think of it. Also, does anyone know if Yasmin can be taken continiously to miss your period?? Thanks so much! J.

I tried ortho-try clyclen to help with my acne problem. It did n't help much so I switched to Yasmin. I love Yasmin. It keeps my skin clear and makes me feel good. People say women gain weight with the pill. I've been the same weight for the longest time while taking yasmin. I don't know about the rest of y our post but that is all I can say. It's good for my skin and weight.

I also tried OTC for acne control and saw no difference. Now I'm on Seasonale and HATE HATE HATE it, and am also curious about Yasmin. It's a monophasic, right? I'd also be interested in hearing how skipping periods on Yasmin worked.

i took yasmin for about 5 months and i loved it. no bloating, less acne. it was great. my problem (before Yasmin) was breakthru bleeding which Yasmin didn't change, so I am now in my first month of Loestrin. if it doesn't change w/Loestrin I am going back to Yasmin.

The BTB was not related to yasmin-it started a long time ago and i have tried a few different pills and yasmin was the best one!
