Sunday start question

Now my problem is I took the first pill (which is really supposed to be taken on a Sunday) on a Tuesday. So my period started 3 days later, on a Thursday. Is there some way to switch it around so I can get my period on a Tuesday? I left a message with my doctor's nurse asking her the same thing. She called back and left a message for me saying that since I am not sexually active, I can stop taking the pill once I finish the pack, be off the pill for a whole month, in other words wait to get it again, and then start a new pack the Sunday after I get my period.
I don't want to do that because I am still very stressed and I know my period will never come..... especially since knowing that I "NEED" to get it will be in the back of my mind! That will drive me crazy. Believe me I get stressed very easily, and I'm still really stressed with starting my new job. Here is what I said 3 months ago!! Please read it and help me. I hope to talk to the nurse tomorrow but can't wait that long! Maybe there is something better than what she will tell me tomorrow. Thanks alot.

You can start a new pack anytime in the "placebo week". Don't go more than 7 - 24 hour days without hormones, but less than that will not compromise your protection one bit.
I read the booklet that came with yasmin and found nothing about the placebo week. I guess it's the week of the white pills? Can I just start a whole new pack by taking the first yellow pill on Sunday? That will mean I will skip the last 2 white pills. Please help, thanks.
The 4th weeks pills are the placebos (three weeks of active pills and then the placebo week). Yes, reducing your placebo week from 7 days to 5 as you suggest will be quite safe and should get you back to the Sunday start that you want.
Good luck
