I went to the doctor yesterday for my annual. I have been on the patch for a little over a year, and am satisified with it. I brought up to her that I had been interested in Seasonale, but did not want to go back to a pill a day. WELL she then goes on to explain to me how any pill can be taken like Seasonale, that you can even do the patch. She told me it was fine to wear a patch for 12 weeks straight, and then have a one week period. YIPEE! =) If I have BTB that I feel uncomfortable with, I will go back to the normal cycle.
I have questions for all of the well informed women on this board.
Have you ever had a doctor tell you this?
What do you think of this?
My main concern is that your period is supposed to flush the system, so does all the tissue staying in the uterus "rot" or go bad when it doesn't get flushed?
Im hoping I can get away with one copay for a 12-week pack =)

Your doc is totally right...Seasonale is no different than any other monophasic pill, they just removed the inactive pills.
