birth control and pregnancy

Hello ladies-- I have a question and I wasnt sure where exactly to post it, but I know someone will help me. A little background, I've been on Ortho Evra since January and just started Yasmin this month. My question is regarding pregnancy, I know when you become pregnant you miss your period, but is it possible to be pregnant and not miss a period? If so, could this be from a birth control or from switching birth controls? Thanks.
Stacy

It's not impossible to be pg and have a period but I think it is very, very rare. Switching pills could cause you to miss a period or for AF to come at a different time and be of a different consistency that you were used to on your old pill. That sort of thing is quite common and why some women use back-up when switching pills, so if something seems a bit different they know they were protected while their body is adjusting to the new hormones. Ok?
Good luck
Jill
