im getting married in two months, as both my husband and i will be working afterwards, we wont be able to afford kids for 2-3 yrs due to lack of time, money and other numerous aspects.

If i take on pills to prevent pregnancy, can it be a problem in conceiving later onwards when we decide to have kids?

Not an expert, but I took bc pills for about 13 years before deciding it was the right time for me to have a baby (I started taking the pill for period regularity when I was 18) I did not have any extraordinary problems in getting pregnant....good luck

Hi ballama, welcome!

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

I don't think there has been anything to indicate that oral contraceptives affect your fertility after you have stopped taking them. You might have a cycle or two while your body adjusts to being back on your natural hormones, but that's about all. Thanks for stopping by,

Good luck
