My guess is that the fat you burned during that weight loss released enough estrogen to cause your periods to start early and since you have reduced the amount of weight lost this month your period is probably moving back to your placebo week.
Missing one pill isn’t that big a deal as long as it wasn’t the first or last active in a pack (you shouldn’t go more than 7 24-hour days between active pills during your placebo week) though now the FDA is recommending that back-up be used for 7 days even for one missed pill.
Breast tenderness: have you been heavily into foods or beverages with caffeine in them? Caffeine can sometimes cause severe PMS symptoms… or it could be a tight bra…
If you have been taking your pills correctly I’ll bet you’re fine and AF will be along on schedule next week. Let us know how you are doing, ok?
