I have been taking ProEstin for about 6 months. It worked great for a few months, but now my period is not coming on schedule. Sometimes it will come on the Tuesady of the last week, sometimes the Saturday, and once on a Thursday. I got it my regular day last month, then again two weeks later, and now I think it is time for it again. (This is the day I woukd normally get it) I haven't gotten it today, but it has been so out of whack lately. Should I be worried about being pregnant? (I always have safe sex) If anyone can offer advice it would ease my mind. Thanks

I think I'd call my doctor....if things were going well for a while and all of a sudden your periods aren't predictable anymore, there may be something going on. Particularly the period two weeks after another one while you're still taking active pills--that's not supposed to happen and could possibly (maybe, possibly, just a theory) be a result of breakthrough ovulation. If you are ovulating, that will change your pill-periods somewhat as things wouldn't be hormonally where they should be for bleeding to occur.

If it were me, I'd probably use some form of backup until I could get ahold of my doctor to find out one way or another what's going on!

Good luck, please let us know how you're doing, okay?
