Just curious... how many hours do you usually say it would count as a MISSED pill. As in the instructions in the pill packages... it might say miss 1 pill, you're fine and take it as soon as you remember... this might include 2 in one day, etc. So say you were late by 2,4,6 hours etc... when would you start saying it was missed?

Hi myomy5,

I haven't seen anything definitive as exactly what constitutes a missed pill. However, for me a missed pill is one taken 8 or more hours late.

Good luck

I've seen 8-12 hours in various places as "missed" pills rather than late. You do know the FDA has changed the labeling to using backup for even one missed pill, right? Better safe than sorry!

Yes, I do know that, which is why I was wondering. After missing a pill by 6 hours or so (first time ever being over an hour or two late) I started to wonder how worried about it I should be. I posted about this about a week ago but only got one response.

Thanks very much
